I was handed a note t’other day in registration saying something like:

“Sponsor your head girl … so I can go to Kenya and climb a mountain and raise money for cancer”

There are 2 things wrong with this, and I’ll tackle the most obvious one first:

Perhaps, rather than spending a boatload of money going to Kenya so you can climb a mountain (also called a holiday) to raise money for cancer, you could, y’know, raise money for cancer? It annoys me that getting to this mountain will cost far more than you will ever raise for cancer. Fuck you.

Second of all, I take great annoyance that you’re calling yourself “my” head girl. You’re not. I didn’t vote for you, not that pupil voting counted for shit anyway, and you were chosen by the senior staff because you’re the least likely to question authority. George didn’t get the head boy position for exactly the oposite. This doesn’t represent me. Authority needs to be questioned, and you sheeple annoy the shit out of me. Fuck off and stop calling yourself “my” head girl. You’re not. Rawr.

As I mentioned yesterday, my school’s new site was nearly ready to go live. Well, now it is :). I ordered the hosting at around 1PM today, and a few hours and a few (about 7) mugs of tea later, we’re now here! Comparing the old version of the website to the new one is much like comparing a small mouse to a Fararri; the later is simply better.

I would blog more fully about this, however my DVD just finished burning, and I hear Jack Bauer calling my name…
