What is XVib?

The work of a sick, demented mind. Originally, I was just experimenting with the XInput stuff in DirectX, testing input, messing around with vibration, etc. It eventually came to a point where I realised what I had written; a fucking vibrator. I released it on WAARK in its current state, and Robin told me to stick it up here. I had planned on polishing it up a bit; giving it a proper GUI, perhaps some more vibration presets, etc. I don’t really have the enthusiasm to do so, so I’m releasing the current (and likely final) version here.

In short, XVib allows you to use your xbox 360 controller for windows as a vibrator. Oh lawdy.

Instructions

A - puts on mode A, just pure vibrate
B - puts on mode B, vibrate on, off, on, off every 0.25 seconds
Y - mode Y, pulses between intensities
X - cycles between modes, changing every 10 seconds

Up - increases vibration intensity
Down - decreases it
Left - pans the vibration towards the left motor
Right - towards the right motor

Start - toggle vibration on/off
Back - quit

Requisites

You’ll need:

xbox 360 pad for PC
directx 9/10/whatever
vc++ 2k8 redist (x86 | x64)
